Welcome To Our New AV Librarian

Ryan Engel joined the staff of the Lawrence Jacobsen Library at the Wisconsin National Primate Research Center as the new Special Collections Librarian on September 2.  He will be taking charge of the library's audiovisual collection and aiding in the development of new web resources, especially in the area of multimedia content (images, audio and video).

Ryan received his MLS from the UW-Madison School of Library and Information Studies in 2004.  Although a Wisconsin native, he spent the last three years as a news librarian at CNN's world headquarters in Atlanta.

Revised Primate Taxonomy Section

We've revised and updated the Primate Taxonomy section of PIN, including a new searchable taxonomy database that provides access to the taxonomy used for organization of information and species indexing on PIN.
